Your student e-mail account* will only be accessible for a limited time after graduation. Please have your Vanderbilt mail forwarded to an alternate address. Information regarding Commencement will be distributed through the Vanderbilt e-mail system. Following Commencement, you will begin receiving notices about the termination of your account. Alumni Association Membership
Membership in the Alumni Association begins at the August Pinning Ceremony. There are no membership dues or fees. To find out how to get involved, send e-mail to the alumni board president at VUSNAlumniBoard@vanderbilt.edu.
Vanderbilt Nurse Magazine
Vanderbilt Nurse is an exciting look at current and historical information about the School of Nursing. It is published by the School of Nursing in cooperation with the Vanderbilt Medical Center Office of News and Public Affairs and mailed to all School of Nursing alumni. v-nurse is distributed through e-mail six times a year by the School of Nursing and is your link to the latest happenings at your alma mater. Make sure we have your current e-mail address on file so that you can stay up to date with the latest news on the nursing school and changes in the nursing profession (vanderbiltnurse@vanderbilt.edu).
Library Access
The Eskind Biomedical Library is located between Garland Avenue and 21st Avenue South. As an alumnus of Vanderbilt University, you will have access to all on-site resources and are able to use Medline, a free database linked to Eskind Digital Library through the PubMed site. Due to publishers’ rules that some online information be available only to current students, your access to online resources will be limited. For more information, including library hours, please call (615) 936-1410.
You will be required to show a Vanderbilt University ID to enter the library. ID cards are available for $10 at the Sarratt Student Center Card Office on the first floor. Stop at the main desk in Sarratt for directions to the card office, (615) 322-2273.
Parking is available in the garage on 22nd Avenue South. Contact Vanderbilt Medical Center Parking and Transportation, (615) 936-1215, to speak to a manager about garage access. Be sure to have your approximate time of arrival and length of stay available when you call.
