Example of First Page of Text
This is an example of a first page of text. In the introductory paragraph, the
purpose of the paper should be stated. There should be a general introduction to the
topic of the paper. The paragraph would consist of a minimum of 3 sentences. The
manuscript page header has been typed .5-inches from the top of the page; it is the
second page as the title page was the first page with the corresponding number 1.
The title of the paper has been centered, typed in upper and lower case letters,
placed at the top one-inch margin and is less than 12 words. The paragraph was
indented 5 spaces and the text is double-spaced. A regular 12 point
Times New Roman font has been selected.
Non-pharmacological Management of Chronic Pain
Level 1 headings have been selected to organize the content of the paper, since it
will be a short paper. A level 1 heading is centered and typed in uppercase and
lowercase letters. This section will address other means to manage chronic pain
beyond pharmacological agents.
