Vanderbilt Medical Center
Nursing Services Educational Benefit
Full-time VUMC Nursing Services employees are eligible for an educational benefit of 12 semester hours of course work once they have completed their 90 day probation period at the Medical Center. Employees must be enrolled in a program at the School of Nursing.
After the 90 day probation period:
Medical Center Benefit: 12 semester hours per fiscal year.
University Benefit: 70% of one three-credit course per semester (fall, spring, summer - 9 semester hours total). This kicks in after VUMC benefit has been fully used.
