Technology to Support Learning (Nursing Informatics)
Vanderbilt is a leader in developing and using advanced nursing informatics. This integration of nursing science, computer science and information science is having a dramatic positive impact on nursing education, management and patient care. We are using new technologies for enhanced classroom and distributed learning. And our ability to electronically enter and retrieve patient data is better preparing our graduates for tapping technologies that will improve patient outcomes in a variety of practice settings following graduation.
