Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP/ACPNP)

Multiple Entry Options

Program Length (full-time study)

Primary Care PNP
Non-nurses 3 semesters pre-specialty + 3 semesters PNP courses
ASN or diploma RNs 2 semesters RN pre-specialty + 3 semesters PNP courses
BSN RNs 3 semesters PNP courses
Post-master’s Program length & courses determined by individual portfolio analysis
Acute Care PNP
Applicants are encouraged to have more than two years of acute care pediatric experience. Those seeking part-time or post-master’s study may be accepted with one year of pediatric acute or critical care experience. Applicants must hold a Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate.
ASN or diploma RNs 2 semesters RN pre-specialty + 3 semesters ACPNP courses
BSN RNs 3 semesters ACPNP courses
Post-master’s Program length & courses determined by individual portfolio analysis
