Postdoctoral Program
Eligibility
The Postdoctoral Program at VUSN is open to nurses who have completed a doctoral program within the past five years and are able to locate to Nashville, TN.
Application Process
Applicants are encouraged to contact the Postdoctoral Program Office before submitting the application materials, which include:
- Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education attended
- Essay describing professional career goals, reasons for pursuing postdoctoral education, goals for postdoctoral education, focus or area of research, expectations for mentorship, and how the selected mentor matches your expectations and needs
- Curriculum Vitae
- Three letters of recommendation
Selection of fellows rests heavily on a strong match between the candidate and faculty mentor.
