Vanderbilt operates one of the most extensive faculty-practice networks anywhere. From our freestanding primary care clinic and nurse-midwifery clinic to school-based clinics and many other practice settings, the Vanderbilt network gives students the real-world experience they need to deliver quality, compassionate patient care.
Vanderbilt School of Nursing clinical faculty provided over 29,000 visits to 12,000 patients in the twelve clinics affiliated with the school. These clinics are located in public housing sites, senior living facilities and employer health sites. The Certified Nurse Midwife practice has two practice sites delivering over 700 babies.
